The Most Reliable Family Cars

When deciding which car you want to buy, the last thing you want is it to break down whilst trying to get you from A to B. You want to choose a car where you won’t be taking constant trips to the garage for costly repair works.  There are numerous things that you must consider when you are looking for a car which you can use every day that has the capacity to meet the needs of the whole family. Practicality, running costs and comfort are some of the things you may look for but it’s often hard to find out how reliable a car is. I have decided to compile a list of what I believe to be the most reliable family cars.

Up first is the Second Hand Peugeot 3008. This car has a practical shape, competitive price point and is a comfortable ride for all of the family. The car comes with some great diesel engines making the running costs fairly cheap and the car is spacious for all family requirements.  The 3008 is by no means the best drive in its class and neither is the most current model the best looking but if you’re for a solid family car choice then look no further.

A surprise contender is the Renault Laguna. Renault have not always been known for its reliability in the past, infact many of the models make the most unreliable cars but the Used Renault Laguna appears to have had little problems with its most current models. The Laguna is a stylish car which doesn’t compromise practicality either.

The Second Hand Skoda Yeti has consistently ranked well for reliability and it’s not just that which impresses owners but also the stylish crossover. The yeti is not only a reliable vehicle but great to drive and very practical for the family. The Yeti does feel like the ride comfort could be improved and has high CO2 emissions but overall the Skoda’s excellent record for reliability and customer car must be taken into account and it’s no wonder why the Yeti has proved so popular.

To complete the list and in my opinion the most reliable is the Used Dacia Logan. It’s the cheapest estate you can buy and offers loads of space for not much money. It’s basic and cheap but its dependable and reliable, thanks to its parent company Renault. The Logan is very practical and offers large boot space and the car is very cheap to run which is prefect if doing lots of miles like you would in a family car.
